What is Digital Art? ..and what happens at the intersection of Dance and Digital 

Art? The Digital Dance Collective was founded the answer those questions... and ask even more questions.

Nicknamed DigiDance, the collective provides varied opportunities for users to engage, consume, and interact with digital arts media in a movement-based manner. Avenues of our art making include graphic design, animation, projection design, film, and performance studies. This unique collaborative and creative environment fosters relationships between passionate creators across disciplines of film media, digital illustration, video editing, and performance artists; generating pieces that are insightful and thought-provoking. DigiDance strives to make digital dance art assessable to all through multimedia, social media, and live performance works.

Our dance film work are comprised of two main project areas - short films, shared social media platforms, and larger-scale projects, submitted into screendance film festivals for critical review. Live performance works include projection and animation design, live cameras, and performing artists.
