(2021) "Continuum" Single-Shot dance Film in a Perfect Loop. Within the rehearsal process, choreography was built for the dancer’s bodies, while simultaneously considering multiple framing options of the camera to capture said movement. These considerations assisted in the development of the camera’s choreography for the work. The process of choreographing the camera's movement influenced, and was influenced by, the body's movement in the frame.

(2021) "Gamer" Inspired by arcade, video, and computer games of my childhood, this research is an investigation of body, film, choreography, animation, and multimedia. The process of this exploration began in embodied movement by understand the ways characters and images moved within computer games. The outcomes of the investigation we determined by the relationship between the body’s choreography and the post-production animation.

(2021) "I am Nobody" Virtual Performance in “Eyes Closed Eyes Open” a collaborative performance between the University of Iowa's Department of Dance and International Writing Program. Poetry by Haifa Abualnadi and voice over by Liat Graf. Within the process, Haifa's poem was used as inspiration for embodied movement, filmed myself executing the choreography, and animated the dancers on screen from that footage.

(2020) “I Needed to Listen” utilizes research conducted in the history of trauma stored in the body. Through the intersection of film and dance, it offers a movement conversation in different experiences of racial trauma and how those might be perceived. This investigation worked with the implicit reactions of its collaborators to define the movement, camera perception, and editorial choices in its completed iteration.

(2020) Created in the mist of a global pandemic, "Freeze" tells the story of a young couple who embraces the quarantine to build their relationship. Within a daily structure that is confined to one home, they develop new rhythms and romance that is not influenced by the agencies of their traditional routines.

(2020) “alouette” is the solo piece I performed as part of my audition processes. Based on the idea of an injured bird, “alouette” casts notes of flightlessness throughout the piece. I envisioned this piece on film with multiple layers.

(2020) With inspiration lacking during our isolation times, we are challenged to find new ways to produce screendances without assistance from anyone. So the question came up: how do you film with movement, from multiple angles, and still be the subject that is filmed? This is the result.
