Interface 2.0
in Indy Fringe Festival

Snyopsis

This is so much more than a dance show. It’s more than a technology show. This is an interdisciplinary performance experience where dance and technology interact and create an performance like none other. Every show is different! Employing themes of Merce Cunningham’s Change Dance, performances are completely unchoreographed. Dancer’s movement is influenced by the projection design, the music, and others performers creating a unique experience at each show.

An interface is the place at which unrelated systems meet and communicate with each other.
This show is a culmination of research at the intersection of the dancing body and moving digital art where we’ve asked what is possible in interaction of physical and digital space.
My biggest hope is you’ll leave this show excited about what possibilities lie ahead in interdisciplinary work. That you’ll share what you experience with your friends and family. And together, we will push the boundaries of performance art and technology.
